NLS - NEW LEVEL OF SUSTAINABILITY
This natural, undyed wool yarn results from a complex selection process of the naturally available shades which are mixed to create a range of natural colours without the use of dyes, chemicals or water. This authentic product is 100% natural and environmentally friendly and ofcourse mulesingfree!

THE ONLY THING ADDED... We often add a softener when washing our wool materials, this is the only substance added. It is very kind to both nature and mankind and fulfills alot of enviromental standards as well as it is approved for both Blue sign and GOTS production.

We combine wool with TENCEL® to get a lighter, softer and cooler feeling. This is a plated fabric where we knit with TENCEL®closest to body and the wool facing out, this makes the fabric softer to wear directly against the skin.

SPORT LODEN/TENCEL®

60% sport loden wool 40% TENCEL®, weight: approx. 350g/m2

Wool and TENCEL®  is a perfect match and both fibres have outstanding properties and complement each other:

• Wool blends with Tencel® provide even better moisture transport.
• Boiled Sport Loden garment with Tencel® on the inside feels softer against the skin.
• Tencel® closest to body also gives a cooler and more summery feeling.

TENCEL® branded lyocell fibres from the house of Lenzing. They are of botanic origin, since they are extracted from the raw material wood. Fibre production itself is extremely ecofriendly, due to the closed loop system. Textiles of TENCEL® fibres are more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen. All our WINDBREAKER jackets and sweaters have lining supplied by the Swedish company FOV in Borås. The lining quialities used in our collection are developed for activewear and are Blue Sign certified.

Breathability: 20 000g/m2/24h

Stretch lining: 40 000g/m2/24h

As a part of our striving towards an even “greener” and more sustainable collection we have started to use a high functinal lining made of recycled PET-bottles. This quality is also developed byt FOV in Borås, and is Blue Sign - and Öko-Tex standard 100 certified.

COTTON

Quality american type, fibre lenth 27-29 mm. Yarn is spun and dyed in Portugal.

In our cotton we use an extra high twist to make it stronger, more resistant against pilling, and shinier. Garments are also pre-shrunk and tumbled for softness.

Cotton weight on our flat knitted single jersey is 400g/m2

LINEN is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant. Linen is laborious to manufacture, but the fiber is very strong, absorbent and dries faster than cotton. Garments made of linen are valued for their exceptional coolness and freshness in hot and humid weather.

Linen is one of the most biodegradable and stylish fabrics in fashion history. It is strong, naturally moth resistant, and made from flax plant fibres, so when untreated (i.e. not dyed) it is fully biodegradable. It’s durable and more sustainable than most other materials.

To strengthen our Swedish inheritance, and as a sign of high quality, we have chosen to brand our garments with a Swedish flag. The flag has a discreet and tasteful placement usually in left side seam or down at left side of body.

Our paper hang tags are made of FSC certified paper. Our hang tags are attached with a paper string.

The woven carelabels and tags are made of recycled polyester.

We also try to keep as many of our other fabrics and trims as natural as possible, for example all buttons used are made of wood, recycled polyester, coconut shell or recycled paper.

Speaking of paper.....our fake leather logo badges are made of Jacron.

Jacron is a sustainable vegan leather alternative made from cellulose and often used in the global textile and apparel industry.

Jacron is a type of paper material and a standard name for a fabric with similar qualities to animal-derived leather.
