Machine wash wool
Our wool garments can be machine washed as long as you follow the care instructions. We recommend machine washing, but it is very important that you use the wool program.
Wash at 30 °C, with a low spin cycle and a detergent suitable for wool or other delicate materials.
The wool program is gentle and uses plenty of water so the garment can move freely in the drum. This helps reduce the risk of the wool felting. A laundry bag can also be useful as extra protection against wear, especially if you wash with other garments. Never tumble dry wool.
The best thing for wool is almost always to air the garment first. Fresh air often goes a long way. When you need to wash, there are a few simple things that help the garment stay nice longer.
